Background

Maricel was born in the Philippines and has been in Canada since 2018. She currently lives with her husband and daughter in Riverdale, Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario.

Prior to moving to Canada, Maricel lived in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. Maricel has a Bachelor in Elementary Education, and is fluent in English and Filipino.

Experience

Over the past 18 years, Maricel has worked as a full time nanny and home keeper.

In Dubai, Maricel tutored 1 child full time and was a part time house cleaner for 1 year.

Following Dubai, Maricel moved to Saudi Arabia where she cared for 1 child full time and was a part time house cleaner and cook for one family for 2 years.

Maricel then moved to Hong Kong for close to 10 years, where she was with three families caring and tutoring 2 children each, while maintaining house cleaning duties for 3 families.

In Canada, she has been with two families, helping to raise two young girls on a full time basis, while working part time cleaning homes, primarily in Riverdale, Toronto.
